Conflict and Cleavages in U.S. Cities

How does conflict manifest itself within cities? When conflict occurs, where are lines drawn and how do they evolve over time? Harvard Kennedy School Ph.D. candidate Peter Bucchianeri will answer these questions through research based on the largest collection of local legislative records to date, which includes policy proposals and roll call votes from 180 city and county councils across the United States.
