
Pre-Health Academic Advisor
Rachel holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Boston University and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University, and is trained as a psychotherapist and college counselor. In her previous role at Boston University School of Medicine, she provided support services, career advising and assistance with disability services to Graduate students in Medical Sciences, as well as undergraduate students enrolled in the Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences (BLCS) bachelor’s degree and certificate programs in Biotechnology and Clinical Research. Additionally, she taught a seminar in professional development and work skills training, emphasizing mastery in a number of practical areas related to job readiness. Rachel taught a section of FY 101 during the 2019/2020 academic year and currently serves as the advisor for the Pre-Medical Society.
