The Preservation Studies Program attended the Vernacular Architecture Forum, New England Chapter for their Annual Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island, April 2024. Thank you for the excellent speakers and guided tours, around the conference theme of “New Narratives in Vernacular Architecture.” Including presentations by Gretchen Pineo, a graduate of our MA in Preservation Studies (2013) and Senior Architectural Historian at the Public Archaeology Laboratory, Inc. (PAL), Pawtucket, Rhode Island; and by Boston University’s Hannah Muhlfelder, PhD in American and New England Studies candidate.
