
M.A. Student; Preservation Studies, Archaeology Concentration
Gianna Ortiz majored in History with a minor in Asian studies from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. She will be completing her Master’s in Preservation studies with the Archaeology concentration. She hails from Dedham, Massachusetts, but just recently moved to Norwood located a few miles south of Boston. Gianna interned for the City of Boston Landmarks Commission under a recent graduate of the MA program, Gabriella Amore, who sparked her interest in the field. Before enrolling in the MA, Gianna began her journey at Boston University in Residence Life, employed as the Rich Hall Administrative Coordinator. Gianna works full-time on West Campus while being a part-time student in the MA program.
