Stomp Out Stigma

  • Starts: 12:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2016
  • Ends: 5:00 pm on Monday, October 3, 2016
Stomp Out Stigma is an event in which we blow up balloons with positive messages on slips of paper inside. Passerby write stigmatized words relating to mental illness or their personal experiences on the balloons, and then stomp on them, and retrieve the paper with the positive message. This event has proved to be cathartic and fun for many people in past years and works to counteract stigma against mental illnesses and get attention for our cause as a mental health organization.
