The Most Sacred Body of Jesus was commissioned in 2016 by Marsh Chapel for the University’s annual Good Friday Service. With rich choral writing supported by a luscious string orchestra, the composer carefully crafts an atmosphere of mystery and devotion. This is the first concert performance of this work and it will be recorded live in performance for commercial release. Text: Medieval poetry and John Milton, Paradise Lost.
