FACT OR FICTION: JUSTICE ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL

  • Starts: 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016
  • Ends: 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016
Andrew Cohen (LAW ’91, COM ’88) received his journalism degree from BU’s College of Communication and his law degree from the School of Law. Over the course of 20 years at CBS News and other media outlets he's put both to use as a legal analyst and commentator. Join Andrew as he discusses two topics plaguing this year’s election: voting rights and criminal justice. Both are at the front of the line when it comes to topics that intersect law and media coverage. Andrew has covered both very closely and also has been paying particular attention to the challenges journalists have faced, and in some ways failed, when it comes to separating fact from fiction. BU College of Communication Dean Thomas Fielder will give opening remarks and lead a Q&A. Drinks and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Kindly RSVP to lawrsvp@bu.edu by Thursday, October 20, 2016.
