Tracy Kidder: "Variations on the Problem of Goodness"

Distinguished writer Tracy Kidder, author of "Mountains Beyond Mountains" and "Rough Sleepers," will deliver the 2025 Meredith E. Drench Lecture, "Variations on the Problem of Goodness."

The Drench Lecture is hosted by Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. This year's lecture is co-hosted by BU Wheelock, School of Public Health, School of Social Work, and the Center on Forced Displacement.

The Meredith E. Drench Lectureship Fund was established by physical therapy alumna Meredith E. Drench, PhD, PT to share her passion and belief in the “compassionate rehabilitation” of the whole person. A behavioral specialist, Drench’s work bridged the fields of physical rehabilitation and psychosocial behavioral sciences.

A reception and book signing will follow (guests may bring books to be signed; books will not be sold at the event).
