Hee An Choi

Dr. Choi, Hee An is a Clinical Associate Professor of Practical Theology and Director of the Anna Howard Shaw Research Center at Boston University, School of Theology. She teaches in the areas of practical theology, pastoral theology, Asian American theology, gender and cultural studies, leadership studies, and postcolonial studies. Her recent publication includes A Postcolonial Leadership: Asian Immigrant Christian Leadership and Its Challenges, (State University of New York Press, 2020) and A Postcolonial Self: Korean Immigrant Church and Theology, (State University of New York Press, 2015). Her forth coming book is A Postcolonial Relationship: Challenges of Asian Immigrants as the Third Other (State University of New York Press, 2022).
