Jennifer Greif Green

Jennifer Greif Green is a professor in special education and a clinical psychologist. Her research focuses on increasing the capacity of schools in provide mental health supports and services to students. She is particularly interested in how teachers can contribute to facilitating early identification of students who may benefit from mental health services, as one way to reduce disparities in mental health service access.

Dr. Green also studies school bullying and specializes in assessing bullying and determining how assessments can be used to inform school safety planning. She has collaborated with a number of local schools to provide feedback on student bullying experiences. Dr. Green completed her doctorate at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to joining BU, she trained at Yale School of Medicine and in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School.
