Jerry Berger

Jerry Berger brings a background of journalism and public relations that includes local reporting; covering government and politics from the Massachusetts Statehouse for United Press International; working in government as communications director for the Massachusetts Senate Ways and Means Committee; and serving as media relations director at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, leading the institution through the communication challenges during the attack on the Boston Marathon.

I continue to report and write for health care-related organizations; consult on media strategy and am researching a book on the role of media in enabling the slow motion coup by the conservative right.
