Professor Delgado is a Professor of Social Work and Chair of the Department of Macro Practice. His current research emphasis is on Latino and other marginalized urban population groups, youth development, community-capacity enhancement and non-traditional urban settings. Professor Delgado’s most recent book is “Social Justice and the Urban Obesity Crisis: Implications for Social Work,” which discusses obesity among colored populations from individual, family, group, community, and policy perspectives
