Health Sector MBA+ MPH

The Health Sector MBA+ Master of Public Health (MBA+ MPH) is administered jointly by the School of Public Health (SPH) and the Questrom School of Business. In this rigorous program, you’ll build a solid foundation in both management and public health in an integrated, structured curriculum that focuses on the US health care system.

Program Details

The program will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to formulate sound, innovative solutions to complex problems in the health care system. You’ll examine the link between health policy and effective management, incorporating studies in health program administration and organization, health policy and planning, and financial analysis for health care.


The MBA+ MPH program will give you the opportunity to apply management skills to practical challenges in your field of programmatic interest, such as pharmaceutical policy and management, HIV/AIDS, or global health management consulting.


Above all, you’ll expand your perspective of the public health care systems and gain the knowledge and skills you need to be an effective and efficient manager in this field. Not to mention, you’ll do it all in Boston, one of the global hubs for health care innovation.


The MBA+ MPH joint degree requires completion of a total of 82 credits: 42 from Questrom and 40 credits from SPH. Eight credits from Questrom apply as approved electives to SPH and four credits are shared between the two schools.
