Lisa Rohrer
Professor of the Practice, Management & Organizations
Lisa has spent her career bringing ideas and research from top academic institutions to a global audience of students and professionals through executive education, case writing, teaching, and consulting with organizations across the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. She started her career in financial services working in New York and London and her work has spanned a number of domains including market research, consulting and higher education administration. She has most recently been on the senior leadership team and board of directors for a leading online higher education company working with top business schools in the US, UK and Europe to bring their executive education online and accessible to a global audience.
Lisa’s academic and teaching experience centers around the leadership and strategy of professional service firms, with a particular focus on law firms. Having written her PhD dissertation on the impact of law firm mergers on associate career paths, Lisa has consulted with law firm leaders of major US and global firms around topics of leadership and strategy. She has led executive education at Harvard Law School and Georgetown Law Center and is the author of numerous Harvard case studies on leadership in professional services.
