“The Questrom program met my expectations. It was challenging, fast-paced, and diversified. And the professors were quite helpful in answering my questions and providing helpful feedback in my job search process.”

As a business school graduate with only two years of work experience, Danting Huang hoped the Questrom MS in Business Analytics program could enhance her technical skills, but also give her the opportunity to explore other industries and meet other professionals outside of finance.

After college, Danting worked in asset management and private equity at MFS Investment, Wellington Management, and Blackstone in Boston, Hong Kong and New York. This world traveler was ready to move beyond finance and take the next step in her career.

“The Questrom program met my expectations,” says Danting. “It was challenging, fast-paced, and diversified. And the professors were quite helpful in answering my questions and providing helpful feedback in my job search process.”

With her newly minted MSBA, Danting accepted an offer to join the Unilever Future Leaders Program in Shanghai. Working under the North Asia strategy team, she monitors the financial health of the North Asia ice cream business by designing risk evaluation models. She’s also currently involved in M&A due diligence for two food companies.

When she thinks about her future, Danting has her eyes on the big picture—a world where humans and machines work seamlessly together.

“My ultimate career goal is to do something that is irreplaceable by machines,” Danting says. “Using data science to do basic analysis, but also have my own ideas and thoughts that machines cannot generate. That’s what makes us human.”
