VP Supply Chain with 35+ years’ experience working in the life sciences – both in industry and as a management consultant – for medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech manufacturers.
Teaching experience includes teaching undergraduate and graduate Operations & Supply Chain Management courses over the past 9 years.
Professional experience includes: setting Supply Chain strategy and establishing, managing, and improving the entire Supply Chain for clinical-stage biotech and medical device companies. Significant experience building Supply Chains from the ground up, including developing and implementing Planning systems, Sourcing strategies, and Distribution strategies. Significant experience managing contract manufacturers (CMOs/CDMOs), and leading teams that have selected, negotiated contracts with, and transferred operations into contract manufacturers.
Experienced at improving Supply Chain performance and building out teams and systems to support the business’ broader objectives. Hands-on experience managing and improving Planning, S&OP, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, RFPs and Contract Negotiations, Warehouse and Logistics operations.
Member of Tech Ops and CMC teams. Known for team leadership, effective change management, the ability to influence across the organization, and breadth and depth of Supply Chain knowledge.
