President, Fu Wah International Group

Mr. Chiu Yung is the President of Fu Wah International Group. He graduated from Peking University, and after that he completed MBA program from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and DBA in Global Executive Scholars Program from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Arizona State University. In addition, he is a member of the Standing Committee of Beijing CPPCC, Deputy Director of the Committee for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Compatriots and Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs under Beijing CPPCC. He is also the Deputy Chair of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, the Deputy Chair of the Beijing Federation of Industry & Commerce and the Deputy Chair of the Belt and Road Promotion Association between China and New Zealand.

Mr. Chiu Yung laid the foundation for Fu Wah, and gradually led it to become a multinational enterprise in the area of domestic and overseas real-estate development, asset management and operation, culture and art preservation. The the most notable projects include the investment and construction and the Chang ‘an Club, Jinbao Street, Dongcheng, Beijing, Beijing International Wealth Center, etc.

At the same time, he devoted himself to the protection and inheritance of Chinese traditional Red Sandalwood culture. In 1999, China Red Sandalwood Museum was built by Mr. Chiu, which is the first thematic classical furniture museum in China. Over the past 30 years, he has always been committed to the protection, research and inheritance of the Red Sandalwood art and craftsmanship in China, giving Fu Wah a unique label as a brand that integrates business and culture.
