Undergraduate Student Life

Welcome to the most creative, energetic, and productive years of your life.

At Questrom, you’ll make lifelong friends, engage with your choice of 480+ clubs, and immerse yourself in the rich culture of Boston.

Each semester, you’ll encounter people from all over the world who will expose you to new ideas and perspectives. Some of those engineers, pre-meds, programmers, or designers might become business partners or lifelong friends.

Learn alongside 30K other BU students

Questrom is a community of its own within the larger BU environment. You’ll develop close ties with people in your own major, and meet students from BU’s other schools, colleges, and departments.

During your time at Questrom, you’ll step outside your comfort zone. You’ll make friends in your classes. You’ll collaborate with teammates who share common goals as you tackle projects and learn to trust and rely on them along the way. Plus, you’ll have the chance to join one (or more) of BU’s 480+ student clubs. Our students also make connections through groups and organizations off campus, including clubs and competitions at Boston’s other top universities.

Did we mention we’re in Boston?

Jam-packed with arts, culture, food, and entertainment, the city is at your fingertips. Walk out our doors and you’re there. Oh, and we’re neighbors with Fenway Park, too, the oldest major league ballpark in the nation.

BU is a small city unto itself—as innovative as the one in which it lives—with 30,000 students, teachers, and researchers making a difference right here, right now, all in search of their own goals, all ready to collaborate with the world’s brightest minds. Just like you.

Student Government

The Undergraduate Student Government is responsible for creating an environment that enhances the Questrom undergraduate community and student life. They actively work with and on behalf of the students to facilitate communication between faculty, administration, alumni, as well as the greater BU community. The student government plans programming, community service initiatives, and conferences for the student community. They also build partnerships with alumni and organize events to support student experience on campus.

Our undergraduate clubs and organizations are just as unique as our student body. With professional, student government, affinity and cultural, and general interest clubs, you’ll be able to tailor your student experience to suit you best. These student-run organizations will give you an opportunity to lead and learn alongside your peers.
