The Boston University Police
All apartments owned by Boston University are patrolled by the Boston University Police as well as the Boston or Brookline Police dependent upon location. Boston University is situated in an urban location and your safety and peace of mind are paramount. The Boston University Police offers many programs aimed at helping to ensure your safety. While the University is not immune to the problems of urban life, it’s nice to know there are at least two full-service police departments patrolling the campus. 24 Hour Emergency Maintenance
Maintenance requests during regular business hours should be telephoned into our maintenance office at (617) 353-4102. After-hour emergency maintenance services should be telephoned into the Operations Service Center at (617) 353-2105.
Superintendents
Superintendents are available after 5 p.m., on weekends, and holidays to assist you with lockouts or to provide any assistance that they can provide in case of an emergency. Please be sure to contact the Boston University Police first at (617) 353-2121 when any emergency arises. Superintendents are also available to provide you with keys for after-hour or weekend move-ins. Our office should always be contacted in advance of after-hour move-ins or move-outs in order to facilitate the process. Please note that there is a $50 charge for after-hours lockouts services.
Recycling
Boston University has provided recycling bins throughout the Boston University Charles River Campus. Please visit the BU Sustainability website to see where the closest recycling container is for you!
