Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member James CamarinosJames (“Cam”) Camarinos PT, DPT, OMT, FAAOMPT serves as the BUPTC clinic director. He has completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is involved in the care of all injuries, and in particular, works with a team of BUPTC clinicians to care for patients who have sustained a concussion. Cam is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences where he now serves as a clinical instructor. He is an avid hockey player, golfer, runner, cyclist, and, yes, New York sports fan.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Chris BarucciChris Barucci, PT, MSPT, CSCS, MBA is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC. In addition to his years of experience as a physical therapist, Chris has also served as a strength and conditioning specialist. Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, as well as an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Management. Chris’ clinical interests include manual therapy and using exercise and functional training to help patients transition from rehabilitation to a regular exercise program and ultimately back to things they enjoy doing. Outside of the clinic, Chris enjoys time with his family and tackling the endless DIY projects that seem to command his attention.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Lisa BrownLisa Brown, PT, DPT, NCS is a physical therapist at BUPTC as well as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Lisa has been a practicing physical therapist for more than 20 years with specialization in vestibular disorders, traumatic brain injury, and concussion. Lisa is a board certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy and has a Certificate of Advanced Study in Neurologic Practice from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Lisa received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont and a Doctor in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Diane DaltonDiane Dalton, PT, DPT, OCS is a physical therapist at BUPTC as well as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Diane has extensive experience teaching across the curriculum at Sargent College, notably as lead professor of musculoskeletal coursework focused on the spine, in addition to maintaining her clinical practice throughout her teaching career. She is a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy and a certified manual therapist. Diane received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Assumption College, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Columbia University, and a Doctor in Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions. Diane’s clinical interests include spinal disorders and bringing evidence to practice.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Louise DonlonLouise Terciak Donlon, PT, MSPT, SCS, CSCS is a physical therapist at BUPTC. Louise has been designated a Sports Clinical Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. Louise received a Bachelor of Science degree at Boston College and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. A former professional figure skater, Louise continues to coach figure skaters both on and off the ice, utilizing her expertise as a physical therapist.

Robert “Max” Eberhardt PT, DPT, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC. Max received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Rochester, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. He also completed a fellowship in orthopaedic manual therapy through Boston University. He played varsity soccer at the University of Rochester as well as during graduate school at Boston University, and still enjoys playing. Max enjoys all things relating to sports and outdoor activities whether it be hiking, biking, skiing, or golfing.

Shannon Jones, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and orthopedic resident at BUPTC working towards becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University and her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Strength and Conditioning from University of Delaware.  Outside the clinic, Shannon enjoys skiing, playing soccer, and attending concerts or live comedy shows.

 

Abbey Liebert PT, DPT is a physical therapist and fellow-in-training at BUPTC. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University and then went on to complete an orthopedic physical therapy residency at the University of South Florida, later becoming a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. Abbey lived in Tampa the past 5 years working at an outpatient clinic, treating an active population and just recently moved back to her roots in Boston. Outside of work, Abbey enjoys spending time with her family, drinking coffee and traveling! 

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Lee MarinkoLee Marinko, PT, ScD, OCS, OMT, FAAOMPT is a physical therapist at BUPTC as well as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Lee also serves as Director of the Boston University Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. Lee has extensive experience teaching across the curriculum at Sargent College, notably as lead professor of musculoskeletal coursework focused on the upper extremity. Lee has completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. Lee is a board-certified specialist in orthopedics through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is an active member of the APTA, serving on various committees and boards. Lee received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Health Studies and a Doctor of Science Degree in Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences from Boston University Sargent College.

Jacob (“Jake”) Marsden, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at BUPTC. Jake graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Jake’s clinical interests include treating patients experiencing chronic pain. In his free time, Jake likes pick-up sports, going to the beach, cooking, and is an avid Boston sports fan.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Sorcha Martin

Sorcha K. Martin, PT, DPT, EdD, OMT, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Her academic instruction focuses on clinical medicine and orthopedics. Sorcha is a co-director of clinical education in Boston University’s DPT program. She completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Sorcha received a bachelor of science in exercise physiology and athletic training from Lasell College and a doctor of physical therapy from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. She earned her doctor of education from the University of St. Augustine in 2022. Sorcha is active is several professional organizations including the American Physical Therapy Association, the New England Consortium of Clinical Educators, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy where she serves on various committees and boards. Sorcha’s clinical interests include treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and working with patients experiencing chronic pain. She is an avid equestrian and a competitive Three-Day-Eventer. In her free time, if she is not with her horse, she can be found walking her two dogs.

Caleigh O’Brien, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a senior educational physical therapist at Boston University Physical Therapy Center. Caleigh is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and she completed her residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Caleigh is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and completed the Boston University Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. She serves as a lecturer of the foot/ankle and running content and is lab faculty in the lower extremity musculoskeletal curricula at Boston University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Caleigh is also a mentor and faculty member in Boston University’s Orthopedic Residency Program. Caleigh also contributes to the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and the orthopedic residency program. Outside the clinic, Caleigh enjoys running marathons, traveling, and spending time with her golden retriever.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Parul PatelParul Patel, PT, OMT, FAAOMPT is a physical therapist at BUPTC. Parul completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Parul received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and has completed post-graduate course work at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Parul is also an experienced personal trainer and trained in STOTT Pilates.

Jonathan Raymond, PT, MSPT, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC. Jonathan has completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Jonathan is a mentor in the Boston University Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship as well as a teaching assistant in the DPT program at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Science and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Health Science. In his free time, Jonathan is an avid snowboarder and mountain biker.

Kara Robertson, PT, DPT is a physical therapist at Boston University Physical Therapy Center. Kara completed a clinical specialist residency in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Kara currently serves as lab faculty in the upper extremity musculoskeletal curricula at Boston University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She graduated summa cum laude in her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. She is also a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In her free time, you can find Kara playing tennis or netball, planning her next travel expedition, or watching the premier league or formula 1.

Sara Rowlands, PT, DPT is a physical therapist and orthopedic resident at BUPTC working toward becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degrees at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Sara is also a dancer who enjoys photography, cooking, and being festive on holidays.

Jonmichael Salerno PT, DPT is a physical therapist at BUPTC specializing in sports rehabilitation. In 2024, he completed a residency in sports physical therapy with Manual Therapy International in Seattle, WA further developing skills in athletic recovery and performance enhancement. He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College and is a board-certified sports clinical specialist. He is currently working as a PT fellow with a specialist in orthopedic manual physical therapy. Jonmichael grew up in Fairfield, CT and outside of work, he is passionate about staying active and enjoying activities like golfing, hiking, and skiing. He is committed to helping athletes of all backgrounds achieve their goals and maximize their potential.

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Trace SearsTrace Sears, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC as well as a clinical instructor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Trace is board-certified in orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Studies, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University Sargent College. At the clinic, Trace serves as co-CCCE, leading our clinical education programs. His clinical interests include lower extremity biomechanics and foot/ankle disorders. Trace completed the Boston University Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship.

IMG_2063Dan Sieczkiewicz, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT is a physical therapist at BUPTC. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degrees at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, and he completed full fellowship training in the BU Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship program. Dan is also an instructor in BU’s DPT program where has taught in musculoskeletal labs for the last six years. Previously, Dan was a physical therapist at Proex Physical Therapy, where he served as a mentor for the BU fellowship program.

Maria Shevory, PT, DPT, ATC, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist at BUPTC.  Maria received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. Maria is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. She completed a full fellowship in manual therapy at both the Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and Boston University Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship.  In her free time, Maria enjoys working out at Orangetheory Fitness, lounging at the beach, and watching football games surrounded by plenty of buffalo chicken dip.

Olivia Trull, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at BUPTC. Olivia received her undergraduate degree in exercise science at Simmons University in 2020 and continued her education at Boston University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2023. Olivia loves the outpatient setting because she can treat a variety of patients all with different goals and interests. In her off time, you can find Liv golfing, running, strength training, attending concerts, or cheering on the Bruins.

Lizzy Whitehill, PT, DPT, CSCS, FAAOMPT is a senior physical therapist who graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland School of Public Health and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences. After graduation, she worked in out-patient orthopedics on the North Shore before finding her way back to BU. Outside of work you can find Lizzy on a run (she has run marathons to raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), spending the weekend away, or hanging around Fenway Park enjoying the success of Boston’s sports teams.

Kara Woodard PT, DPT is a physical therapist and orthopedic resident at BUPTC working toward becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Kara received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University and her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University where she also competed in Division I Women’s Beach Volleyball. In her free time, Kara enjoys trying new coffee shops and restaurants with friends, doing reformer pilates, or enjoying a good book.

 

Administration

Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) staff member Lauren Ferland

Lauren Joseph is the office manager at BUPTC. Lauren received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, listening to country music, spending time with her husband and sons, and exploring the beaches of her hometown of Gloucester, MA.

 

Miles Lipton is an administrative coordinator at BUPTC. He is pursuing a master’s degree in data science at Boston University. In his free time, you can often find Miles playing basketball, golf, or skiing, as well as spending time with friends. Miles enjoys staying active and exploring new activities.

 

Elizabeth Neal is an administrative coordinator at BUPTC. She is a graduate of Middlebury College where she studied Neuroscience, played Volleyball and ran Track & Field. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health Law, Policy & Management from Boston University School of Public Health and is passionate about healthcare reform. In her free time, she enjoys baking for her friends and family, spending time with her cats Bodhi and Rosemary, and watching NCAA Gymnastics.

Andy Nhiv is an administrative coordinator at BUPTC. He is pursuing his degree in health science at Boston University Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences and is concurrently pursuing a Master of Public Health in epidemiology and biostatistics as well as pharmaceutical development, delivery, and access from the Boston University School of Public Health. In his free time, you can often find Andy at BU’s Fitness and Recreation Center weightlifting and swimming laps, or sharing a meal and playing video games with friends.
