Cristina García González is a doctoral student specializing in Religion, Politics and Society under the direction of Prof. Michael Zank. She studies G.W.F. Hegel’s philosophy of religion and its relationship with the Protestant Reformation, and the thought of Francisco Suárez, with special concern for the De Auxiliis polemic and the Baroque debates on human freedom and predestination. Cristina is a Spanish philologist and has a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona.
