Limited Submission Funding Opportunity: Agilent Early Career Professor Award
Objectives
The purpose of the Agilent Early Career Professor Award is to:
- Promote and encourage excellent research enabling measurements of importance to Agilent Technologies and the world
- Establish strong collaborative relationships between Agilent researchers and leading professors early in their career
- Build the prominence of Agilent as a sponsor of university research
Selection Criteria
- Significant original research contributions enabling measurements of importance to Agilent Technologies and the world
- Outstanding potential for future research
- Alignment with the 2021 Focus: Contributions to the development of breakthrough solutions to understand or manage immunological responses to infection, autoimmunity, or cancer
- Professor completion of Ph.D. (or completion of residency for M.D. or M.D. – Ph.D.) no earlier than January 2011.
Funding Information
Recipient will receive $100,000 over 2 years.

The nomination form requires contact information, a summary of the nominee’s qualifications and future directions (up to 1000 words), a nomination letter (up to 500 words) and a CV. Please do not include any proprietary information.
Internal Selection Process
Interested investigators should submit the following materials via InfoReady Review by DATE: 1/15/2021
- Questions outlined in InfoReady Review application;
- A brief statement (up to 2 pages) about the proposed nominee describing their scientific achievements to date;
- Up-to-date CV or biosketch for the proposed nominee.
A faculty committee drawn from both campuses will review internal proposals and select nominees.
