Limited Submission Funding Opportunity: American Rescue Plan Grants to Organizations Act Grants to Organizations
OBJECTIVES:
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) announced availability of funding provided in the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, the COVID-19 relief and stimulus bill passed in March 2021. The American Rescue Plan Grants to Organizations program will provide one-time grants to eligible organizations to support day-to-day business expenses or operating costs, including salary support, fees or stipends for artists, facilities costs like rent or utilities, personal protective equipment for staff, cleaning supplies associated with health and safety of staff or visitors, and marketing and promotional costs. Eligible applicants include nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organizations and state and local governments.
FUNDING INFORMATION:
Applicants may request either $50,000, $100,000, or $150,000 for a grant period of up to two years. Cost sharing or matching funds are not required. NEA expects to make approximately 800 awards under this program
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
Eligible applicants include nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organizations and state and local governments.
INTERNAL SELECTION PROCESS:
Interested investigators should submit the following materials via InfoReady Review by DATE: 8/12/2021
- Questions outlined in InfoReady Review application;
- A brief statement (up to 2 pages) by the candidate describing their proposed project and the specific entity that would be supported by the funds;
- A brief budget outline for the proposal
- Up-to-date CV or biosketch.
A faculty committee will review internal proposals and select nominees.
