DARPA, ARPA-E, and ARPA-H: How to Work with the ARPAs (2022)

Host: Federal Relations

Join us as experts from Lewis-Burke Associates LLC, a federal lobbying and consulting firm in Washington, DC, explain how federal Advanced Research Projects Agencies (ARPAs) operate and how they’re different from other federal funding agencies. They will discuss how investigators can work with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the Advanced Research Projects Agency–Energy (ARPA-E). The speakers will also provide insights on the newest ARPA, the ARPA-Health (ARPA-H).

Following the presentations, BU faculty who have successfully worked with DARPA and ARPA-E will share lessons they have learned on engaging with ARPAs.

This workshop will help faculty better understand how to work with the existing ARPAs and be better prepared for when ARPA-H announces new funding opportunities. View event slides.
