Alert on Issue with CRC UEI Number in NIH ASSIST and eRA Commons

Please be advised that an issue with the Charles River Campus UEI (Unique Entity Identifier) in ASSIST/eRA Commons was discovered this week where the UEI being populated in the application package was incorrect.   Sponsored Programs has worked with eRA Commons, and this has now been resolved and the correct UEI is now being captured in the systems.

Any proposals that were created in ASSIST when the incorrect UEI was being populated will need to be re-initiated using the correct UEI number as ASSIST auto-associates the institution’s UEI with a proposal and it cannot be changed once the application package is created.

Verify that your application package includes the correct CRC UEI which is THL6A6JLE1S7 otherwise you will encounter a problem when you attempt to validate before submission.
