Building Successful Collaborative Relationships with Policymakers (2023)

Hosted by BU Federal Relations

How can faculty share their research findings in a way that successfully influences policy? Join Adam Seth Levine for an in-person workshop on how scholars can develop effective, collaborative relationships with policymakers. Dr. Levine will present new research on why these relationships require effort and intentionality to cultivate, and evidence-based best practices for scholars who are seeking to forge new connections.

Dr. Levine is a co-founder and president of research4impact, an organization helping to create collaborative relationships so experts from diverse fields can learn from each other, with an emphasis on people working to understand and solve complex social problems. Dr. Levine is also the SNF Agora Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. View event slides and paper.
