Find Funding for the Sciences: Meet the Research Corporation for Science Advancement (2023)

The Research Corporation for Science Advancement supports scientific research and education and helps scientists solve some of the great questions in the history of science with a focus on chemistry, physics, astronomy, and other related disciplines.

In its hundred-year history, Research Corporation has supported the work of nearly 20,000 scientists, many of whom have earned Nobel Prizes, and countless grantees whose work has led to impactful scientific discoveries.

The Office of Research and Foundation Relations will present a workshop to help acquaint BU researchers with the Research Corporation’s principal funding areas and the foundation’s protocols, including around the Cottrell Scholars Program.

Dr. Silvia Ronco, senior program director and director of the Cottrell Scholars Program, will share insights on Research Corporation’s mission and interests, priorities, and grant programs, and how faculty may best engage with the foundation. Participants will also have the chance to share ideas with each other and meet potential collaborators.
