Updated Fringe Benefit Rates for FY24/25 and Revised Budget Templates
The University has negotiated new fringe benefit rates with the Department of Health & Human Services for fiscal years 2024 and 2025. The revised Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement dated 3/27/2023 can be found here.
The new rates should be reflected on all future grant and contract proposals where there will be activity on and after July 1, 2023 and until further notice. All active accounts will be automatically charged the new rates effective July 1, 2023.

* Awards from non-federal sponsors, where the prime award is from a federal agency, are subject to the rate applicable to federal awards.
The Federal and Non-Federal Budget Templates have been updated to reflect the new fringe benefit rates.
Questions regarding the use of rates on sponsored proposal budgets should be referred to your Sponsored Programs Pre Award Officer. Questions regarding the rates on active awards should be referred to your Sponsored Programs Post Award Officer.
