Call for Proposals: 2023 Sony Research Award Program
We are inviting all faculty to participate in the 2023 Sony Research Award Program. The program is intended to foster partnerships between Sony Corporation and BU faculty and researchers. Sony is accepting proposals for awards up to $100,000 for their Faculty Innovation Award and proposals for awards up to $150,000 for their Focused Research Award in the following areas:

These awards contain special terms regarding background intellectual property and may not be suitable for everyone. Please contact BU Technology Development (otd@bu.edu) with any questions regarding your intellectual property and the application.
All proposals must be submitted to Sony by BU Sponsored Programs and will need to be vetted by Technology Development prior to submission. The application window is open until Friday, September 15. Please submit formatted, complete proposals along with required documentation, a budget, and a fully signed proposal summary form to Sponsored Programs (ospera@bu.edu) and Technology Development (otd@bu.edu) no later than Friday, September 1.
