BU Advisory Council for Research Administration Call for Council Members Applications Due July 19, 2024

Research administration plays a crucial role in ensuring that scientific endeavors are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in accordance with Institutional and Sponsor regulations. Behind every groundbreaking discovery or innovation, there is often a team of dedicated professionals managing the administrative aspects of research. Boston University Advisory Council for Research Administration is issuing a call for passionate school/department staff to join its ranks.

What is ACRA?

The Advisory Council for Research Administration (ACRA) was established in 2016 to help build streamlined, simplified, and compliant ways to support the Boston University research enterprise. ACRA brings together representatives from across the research-intensive schools and related central offices to create an engaged and impactful BU research administration community.

If you or someone in your school/department are passionate about research administration and eager to contribute, we encourage you to complete a self nomination or nomination application to join BU Advisory Council for Research Administration.

All council meetings are conducted via Zoom on a quarterly basis. By submitting this nomination, I confirm that if selected, I or the nominee will actively participate in the activities and responsibilities of the Advisory Council for Research Administration, including attending meetings, providing input, and contributing to the advancement of research administration practices at Boston University.
