Virtual Event
Arnold Ventures (AV) is a philanthropy dedicated to improving the lives of all Americans through evidence-based policy solutions that maximize opportunity and minimize injustice. AV focuses on improving systems where outcomes are falling short, incentives are misaligned, and the time is right for change in areas including criminal justice, higher education, health, infrastructure, and public finance. It funds rigorous research to identify solutions and then advocates for policy reforms at all levels of government to build durable, bipartisan coalitions to drive lasting change and impact.
AV’s Evidence and Evaluation team seeks to inform policy solutions through an evidence-based lens by increasing the body of evidence about ‘what works’ and opportunities for government to better target limited resources and drive improved outcomes.
AV does not accept unsolicited proposals but occasionally issues formal requests for proposals. At this Meet the Funder workshop, Andrew Bacher-Hicks, vice president of evidence and evaluation at Arnold Ventures and former assistant professor at Wheelock College of Education and Human Development, will provide an in-depth overview of the process, followed by a Q&A session.
