Stonehill College – Adjunct Instructor of Spanish
The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in the May School of Arts and Sciences at Stonehill College invite applicants for an Adjunct Instructor of Spanish. The candidate will be expected to teach beginning and/or intermediate-level courses. This is a one-semester position for Fall 2022 with the possibility of an extension. The candidate would join the department of 5 full-time faculty members with a range of disciplinary expertise and a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students. This position is fully in person on the Stonehill campus.
Education & Experience
The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic instructor that demonstrates sensitivity to and understanding of students from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of abilities. Candidates also must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field. A terminal degree in Spanish is preferred, but ABD candidates and those possessing an M.A. also will be considered.
