Master Lecturer in French

Dr. Huckle teaches French Language at all levels in the department, including the graduate-level course, French for Reading for Graduate Students, and he is currently the coordinator of LF211, Third Semester French. A published translator in the field of art history, Nick’s translations have appeared in the magazines OCTOBER, CAMERA AUSTRIA, and more recently GAGOSIAN QUARTERLY. He has also translated for LE CENTRE POMPIDOU, MAMCO Geneva, the FRAC (Fonds régional d’art contemporain), and Harvard’s I Tatti Research Series. Nick is the translator of two books: Eric Michaud, The Barbarian Invasions (MIT Press, 2019), and Jérémie Koering, Iconophages (Zone Books, 2024).
