Background
Stephanie Inverso earned her PhD in French at Boston University, where she defended a dissertation exploring the appearance of body parts as expressions of repressed religious confession in early modern French literature. Research for her MA in French, earned from the University of Kansas, focused on nineteenth-century literature and psychoanalysis.
Stephanie was selected to advance her work in seminars at Chicago’s Newberry Library, Dumbarton Oaks, and others. She has presented at multiple conferences in the U.S. and Europe, and two publications are forthcoming. She is currently developing a book project on cordiform, or heart-shaped, maps.
