Our distinguished, multinational faculty bring a global perspective to the study of language, with expertise in the literatures and film of Spain, France, Latin America, Francophone Africa, and more.

Our department offers undergraduate instruction in all four of the major Romance languages:  French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Additionally, our faculty provide advanced training in French graduate studies and Spanish graduate studies.
