RS Graduate Students Hold Conference
On Saturday, April 15, graduate students from Romance Studies hosted a hybrid graduate conference on the theme of “Illusion & Delusion.” We heard presentations from students coming from as near as our own BU Romance Studies department to as far as University of St. Andrew’s in Scotland. Dr. Rachel Mesch gave a wonderful and illuminating keynote presentation titled, “Colette’s Queer Snapshot: Photography and the Illusions of Gender at the Turn of the Century.”
