10/04/06: Free Healthy Breakfast Kicks Off Third Annual Healthy Lifestyle Challenge

(Boston) – Too busy to make yourself breakfast? Don’t skip the most important meal of the day; come to Sargent where we’ve made one for you!

Join us for a free breakfast as we kick off the third annual Healthy Lifestyle Challenge on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, from 8-9:30 a.m. in the lobby of BU Sargent College at 635 Commonwealth Avenue. Stop by on your way to class or work to grab a free breakfast bag and find out about how you can be a part of the Challenge this year.

Beginning with the kickoff breakfast, we will unveil a new challenge every two weeks through April 2007. When you join, you will receive challenges via email; we ask that try to implement them on your own time and then report back to us on the Challenge website about your experience with each individual challenge. After responding to the brief survey at the end of each challenge you’ll be automatically entered into the bi-weekly raffle.

Challenges are simple tips for healthy living created BU Sargent College students and faculty members from all program areas in the college including nutrition, exercise science, health sciences, athletic training, physical therapy, speech, language and hearing sciences, occupational therapy and rehabilitation counseling. Although they are small, easy steps, they can make a big difference in your weight, energy level, and overall physical health and well-being.

Last year, more than 1,500 people joined the Challenge but we need your help to make the third year even more successful than the last! The Healthy Lifestyle Challenge is open to everyone including all BU students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends as well as anyone else in the greater community interested in participating.
