(Boston) – Boston University (BU) College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College kicked off its 5th annual Healthy Lifestyle Challenge on October 6 by hosting a free breakfast in the Sargent College lobby. Attendees received a free breakfast bag and detailed information on the challenge program.

The Healthy Lifestyle Challenge is an email-run program, hosted by Sargent College. The program encourages its participants to incorporate healthy habits into everyday life, thereby improving their overall lifestyle. Challenges are sent out throughout the entire academic year, and new participants can join at any time.
Every other week, members receive a new challenge via email and are instructed to implement the suggestions into their daily routine. The challenges are lifestyle tips and recommendations created by BU Sargent College faculty and centers. After the two weeks, participants answer a short survey to unlock the next challenge. Completing the survey also enters participants into a raffle. All participants will be entered into a raffle for a variety of prizes, including gift cards to many local businesses, at the completion of the program.
Past challenges have ranged from specific ways to limit trans fats to learning how to sleep better. The program began its 5th year by offering study tips to challenge individuals to study smarter and make the most of their limited time.
