How to Apply

Boston University’s Online Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (PP-OTD) program is open to graduates from any ACOTE-accredited entry-level occupational therapy program, or (for international applicants), graduates of a WFOT-approved program. International applicants must provide documentation that they are eligible to practice as an occupational therapist in their home country. We also welcome applicants who can provide a National Government Recognition documentation of their occupational therapy program.

To be considered for admission to the PP-OTD program, please apply online via the Boston University Application.

Application Deadlines

The PP-OTD program has rolling admissions and matriculates students three times per year. Please submit your application by:

  • January 5, 2024 – To begin coursework in Spring (January) 2024
  • April 25, 2024 – To begin coursework in Summer (May) 2024
  • August 20, 2024 – To begin coursework in Fall (September) 2024
