Registration for Incoming First-Year Students

Registering for Your First Semester at BU

Most Sargent first-year students will take a biology course, often a chemistry course, a writing course, and a psychology course. For the fall semester, all students will register for HP 150 First-Year Sargent Seminar. This required course for all first-year Sargent students meets every Wednesday from 12:20-1:10 p.m. Additionally, you’ll take HP 151 Intro to Health Professions in either the fall or spring of your first year. Check your program curriculum in the BU Online Bulletin on which semester you should enroll in HP 151.
