Jennifer Kaldenberg Named Program Director, Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program

We are delighted to announce that Clinical Associate Professor Jennifer Kaldenberg, OT, DrPH, MSA, OTR, SCLV, FAOTA, has taken on the role of Program Director of the Entry-Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program.

Kaldenberg’s clinical work has been largely focused on individuals with visual impairment. A leader in the field, she has served on the AOTA Board of Advanced and Specialty Certification and was a panel member for the development of the low vision specialty certification. She has contributed to the education of both occupational therapy and optometry students, highlighting the functional and social implications that visual impairment may have on individuals’ occupational performance and quality of life.  

Kaldenberg’s scholarship is multifaceted and draws upon her clinical work to explore the intersections between visual impairment and occupational performance and community-based health. Additionally, her research examines the topic of occupational therapy education, with an emphasis on innovation in fieldwork and Capstone opportunities.
