Funded by NIH, NIAMS, and Adicep Technologies, Lewis’ research includes assessing the effect of femoroacetabular impingement on hip motion in young adults and performing EMG analysis of muscle activity during weight bearing theraband exercise. She has been published in journals including Manual Therapy, Gait & Posture, and Journal of Biomechanics.

The award will be presented at the 2016 APTA NEXT Conference and Exposition in Nashville, Tennessee this June.
