Scholarly, Research, and/or Practical Interests

Jennifer Bentley focuses on aural rehabilitation, which involves amplification, education, counseling, and auditory training for individuals experiencing hearing difficulties.  She works clinically with adult clients to provide auditory training activities to strengthen their listening skills in background noise, with rapid speech, and filling in for missed information. Her research delves into how auditory training is being used nationwide both from a professional standpoint and from the patient perspective.
