Sargent Graduate SLP, PT Programs Rank among Nation’s Best, OT #1
Sargent College once again ranks among the nation’s best in the latest US News & World Report graduate school rankings. All Sargent ranked programs are now in the top 9 percent of their peers nationwide. We are the only university in New England to have three programs place in the top 20 on their respective lists of US News’ Best Health Schools. Most impressive, our Occupational Therapy program has once again been named #1 in the nation!
The updated standings are as follows:
- Occupational Therapy: #1 out of 198 accredited programs
- Physical Therapy: #20 out of 239
- Speech-Language Pathology: #10 out of 261
Sargent has a history of continuous improvement and success in these rankings. Occupational Therapy has held the top spot for three of the four most recent ranking cycles. This is the third consecutive rise for Speech-Language Pathology who broke into the top 10 this year, after climbing 9 spots in the previous round of rankings. Physical Therapy, ranks an impressive #20, after considerable increases in prior years.

Conducted every four years, these rankings are based on peer assessment data. Those surveyed include deans, other administrators, and /or faculty at schools with accredited programs in each discipline. You can learn more about the ranking methodology from US News & World Report.
