Sargent Cares Emergency Fund

Students who would like to apply for a grant from the Sargent Cares Emergency Fund are encouraged to discuss their situation with a faculty member and then email Jasmine Samuels, Sargent’s assistant director for graduate financial aid. A survey will be sent to you in which you may provide the details of your circumstances including the following:

• Explain your need for the grant (e.g. a new laptop, assistance for living expenses, etc.)
• Describe how this need was created due to extreme circumstances beyond your control (e.g. loss of employment due to pandemic, health issues for student or parent, etc.)

 Eligibility

Only full-time, current students are eligible for grants from the Sargent Cares Fund. Preference will be given to graduate students when making awards.

Grant awards will be given only as long as funds are available with decisions made by the Dean of the College.
