Ilija Dukovski
Research Assistant Professor, Bioinformatics Program
Ilija’s background is in Physics, specifically quantum information, teleportation and Monte Carlo methods for studies of critical phenomena. After spending several years in industry, working on charge transport in semiconductors, he joined the lab to lead the development of computational methods for spatio-temporal modeling of metabolism. In addition to developing and maintaining COMETS, Ilija carries research on the biophysics of bacterial colonies, soil microbiome dynamics and cancer modeling.
