Off-Campus Work-Study

Federal Work-Study is a form of financial assistance for which students apply on their financial aid applications. The program helps ensure that eligible students will be provided with work opportunities.

The program is not intended to provide jobs in which students may study while working.

Boston University Work-Study lists job opportunities for BU students in online job directories, published in the spring, summer, and fall. Current dates are available in our Work-Study Program dates and deadlines calendar.

The current Massachusetts minimum wage is $15.00. Off-Campus Work-Study minimum wage per hour must be at least an increase of $1, at $16.00.
