Stop by the GSU to write a letter of support to sexual assault survivors and pin it to a display during the month of April. Denim Day on April 27 raises awareness of victim blaming and the myths that surround sexual violence by asking community members to wear denim in solidarity -- a reference to an Italian sexual assault trial in which a woman's clothing was erroneously used as evidence of consent. Presented by SARP, It’s On Us BU, and the Center for Gender, Sexuality, and Activism at BU as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
