Ellen Katz
NP
Nurse Practitioner
Primary Care

I came with my husband to the U.S. in 1989 from Belarus, part of the former Soviet Union. Since then I have been working in the nursing field—as a nurse for over 10 years, including one year working in Israel, and then as a nurse practitioner.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Boston with a master’s degree in science and have been working as a nurse practitioner since 2003. My experience is in family health, specializing in young adults. I am happy to be here at BU Student Health Services.
I enjoy music and playing the piano. I studied music as a child and attended music college in Belarus before moving to the U.S. I have four boys who are very active in sports, and so I have learned to enjoy biking, swimming, playing soccer, and camping.
