Behavioral Medicine

I completed my BA in Political Science at The Colorado College and my Doctorate in Psychology at The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. My predoctoral and postdoc at The Danielsen Institute at Boston University before making the transition to BU Student Health Services. From 2017-2019, I was a clinical fellow at the Psychodynamic Couple and Family Institute of New England. Working from an integrative lens, my clinical interests include anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and multicultural psychology. As an Palestinian-American clinician, I take particular interest in issues of acculturation and have in-depth experience working with bicultural and international individuals. Stress, worry, and disconnection can interfere with living meaningfully and fully, so I hope to offer a collaborative space where students’ unique experiences are honored and where we can work to reduce suffering and find connection. My free time is spent cooking, hiking, and being a patron of the arts.
